Summary:

The seminar was organized by the Management Sciences department of Islamia College University in which the Regional Head North of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, Mrs.Badia Raza threw light on the bright prospects of selecting Chartered Accountancy as a profession.

Objectives of the Seminar:

The main objective of the program was to facilitate the students in making their appropriate career choice and to create awareness of the profession of the accountancy to them.

Other underlying objectives were :

• To broaden the professional vision of the students.
• To tell the students about the eligibility criteria for admission in ICAP.
• To motivate the students by telling them the monetary and social benefits of learning at ICAP.
• To remove their ambiguities about the admission and academic complexities in ICAP.

This seminar was organized to tell the students about the present status of Pakistan’s economy. As it is passing through a very critical stage, so the seminar was centered around the causes of its downfall and necessary measures to bring it up to the developed level.

Summary:
The seminar was organized by the Management Sciences department of Islamia College University in which the Senior Instructor of Pakistan Association of Rural Development(PARD),Dr.Javed Iqbal, delivered a speech on career planning and development for the students’ proper guidance. Dr. Javed Iqbal, having his Ph.D in philosophy, advised the students to develop the three most important features in their personalities i.e. Intelligence Quotient(IQ), Educational Quotient(EQ) and Common Quotient(CQ) to have a brilliant future in their life. A large gathering of students of B.B.A., M.B.A., and faculty members attended this interesting and informational seminar.
