Kamyab Jawan Markaz (Youth Development Centers) represents a landmark initiative by the Government of Pakistan to empower the nation’s youth, their most valuable asset. With a significant investment of Rs. 447.466 million, these centers have been established in 106 public sector universities across the country, providing students with a standardized, one-stop platform for information, counseling, and resources through a single-window system.

These centers bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical skills by offering career counseling, academic guidance, skill development workshops, internships, and entrepreneurship opportunities. The Kamyab Jawan Program, under which these centers operate, is a comprehensive youth empowerment initiative encompassing multiple domains aimed at fostering self-reliance, leadership, and social responsibility.

Islamia College Peshawar is fortunate to host one of these prestigious centers, giving its students direct access to this supportive ecosystem designed to nurture their potential. The center at ICP provides students with the tools, guidance, and resources necessary to transform their aspirations into tangible achievements, contributing to both personal growth and the broader development of Pakistan.

Through Kamyab Jawan Markaz at Islamia College Peshawar, the Government’s vision of a skilled, empowered, and innovative youth is being realized, preparing the younger generation to meet the challenges of tomorrow with confidence and competence.

Objectives:

1. To facilitate/guide youth/students in career counseling
2. The one-stop integrated national and international scholarships hub.
3. Creating awareness among the students regarding Job hunting and much stronger links between employer and youth for job placement and internships
4. To foster an entrepreneurial culture and open paths for entrepreneurship among the Youth
5. To facilitated the implementation of undergraduate education policy
6. To provide a single operational office for Student facilitation
7. Creation of Sports activities, Student Clubs/Societies for complimenting sporting behavior and individuals’ future health.
8. High-quality talent development to create a better talent pool by Training/Capacity Building

• Facilitation office for Practical Learning Labs, where students can develop their communication abilities.
• An operational platform for developing rules for various student clubs, associations, and societies.
• An event management office to plan events for Green Clubs, Student clubs, Book Reading Clubs, and other clubs.
• As a publishing support office, to assist students in publishing University Magazines, articles in newspapers, and other publications.
• A hub for offering available places in different sports and organizing indoor and outdoor games around the year.
• Resolving student queries on time in a professional working environment.
