Khyber Union - Introduction

Khyber union Hall is the hive of Co-curricular activities of the students. It was built in 1942 to house the College student body, the Khyber Union, established in 1921. Every good College aims at a multidimensional development of student’s personality. Academic excellence should go together with power of expression, tolerance and appreciation of difference of opinion.

The activities of Khyber Union have ceased as part of general ban on student unions in 1983, yet the Hall has been instrumental to train students in the ways of real democracy. It also has assumed the additional role of assisting students in matters related to their future profession as well as their present intellectual, psychological & physical concerns.
