On September 19, 2025, Mr. Asim Khan Goraya, Executive Director of the Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services, Islamabad, and Prof. Dr. Ahmad Ur Rehman Saljoqi, Vice-Chancellor of Islamia College University Peshawar, signed a Memorandum of Understanding. On this occasion, Dr. Amir Ullah Khan, Focal Person/Chairman of the Department of Political Science, Islamia College Peshawar, also accompanied Prof. Dr. Ahmad Ur Rehman Saljoqi. He expressed his gratitude to Mr. Asim Khan Goraya and his team for facilitating the signing of this MoU between the institutes.
He further stated that Islamia College Peshawar is a historical institute in the Sub-Continent, noting that Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah donated one-third of his assets to it along with Aligarh College and Sindh Madrassatul Islam. He described the MoU as a milestone that would facilitate the youth and faculty members in gaining fundamental education in Parliamentary studies. He also appreciated the efforts of Dr. Amir Ullah Khan for taking the initiative and facilitating the establishment of collaboration with PIPS. At the end, Mr. Asim Khan Goraya and Prof. Dr. Ahmad Ur Rehman Saljoqi exchanged the MoU and presented souvenirs.
