Prof. Dr. Ahmad Ur Rahman Saljoqi, Vice Chancellor, Islamia College Peshawar paid a purposeful visit to one of the most meritorious departments of the University. The department has produced numerous distinguished graduates who are serving with excellence in various fields, including the civil services, and is regarded as one of the top-performing academic units of the institution.
The Vice Chancellor appreciated the energetic, competent and dedicated teaching and cooperative non-teaching staff of the department for their commitment to academic excellence. He also praised the wise and effective management of the incumbent Chairman, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal for his leadership and contribution to maintaining the department’s high standards.
He attentively listened to the suggestions put forward for further improvement and emphasized that a shared vision and collective effort are essential for the continued progress of this historic institution. During the visit, key matters such as the development of the linguistic laboratory, enhancement of multimedia facilities, faculty support& development and student facilitation were discussed in detail.
